CASC Climate 101 Trainings
The USGS works with university partners to offer region-specific “Climate 101” training workshops to help build climate literacy. These workshops serve as introductions to climate science, regional impacts of changing climate, and climate adaptation strategies. Each workshop focuses on case studies and climate impacts of interest to the region.
Diverse Knowledge Systems for Climate Adaptation Fellowship
The Diverse Knowledge Systems in Climate Adaptation Fellowship supports graduate students for one year as they use their diverse experiences, viewpoints, value systems, and cultural knowledge to strengthen their climate adaptation efforts.
Climate Adaptation Scientists of Tomorrow Program
To advance climate adaptation science and increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM fields, the Climate Adaptation Scientists of Tomorrow Undergraduate Research Experience brings undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty together with CASC partners to cultivate the next generation of climate scientists.
