The Aquatic Gap Analysis Project (GAP) focuses on species found in coastal and inland waters. The goal of Aquatic GAP is to evaluate aquatic biological diversity and habitats using spatial analysis and species distribution models to identify gaps in species protection or threats to habitats in order to work toward more effective conservation planning and prioritization.
