By Land Change Monitoring, Assessment, and Projection

The LCMAP project is engaged in collecting reference data for the validation of the LCMAP annual land cover products. LCMAP Reference data provide a quantitative measure of the accuracy and consistency of LCMAP land cover and land cover change products. Collection and application of these data will be ongoing as LCMAP products are updated.
