Hayley Glassic, Ph.D.
I am a fish biologist with U.S. Geological Survey’s Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center.
I am a fisheries biologist whose goal is to advance and contribute to applied ecological research focused on conservation and management of native species and resilient, sustainable fisheries. My research answers questions from the population to landscape-scale through field experimentation, empirical field-based studies, analysis of long-term data, and simulation to understand how mechanisms of change influence the persistence and resilience of species and communities. Within my body of research, I have committed to integrating diverse interests by answering applied management questions while incorporating ecological theory. I have conducted research in lotic and lentic waterbodies ranging across ecoregions from the Central and North Basin and Range to the Middle Rockies and Northwestern Glaciated Plains.
