Holly Chandler

Holly Chandler is a Program & Management Analyst at the USGS National Climate Adaptation Science Center. She works closely with the Climate Adaptation Science Center network on management of online tools, systems, and websites, project tracking, organizational development, science communications and various other tasks.

Biography

Holly has strong interests in human-centered design and improving the user experience of tools and systems developed by the USGS. She has recently completed training courses in Human-Centered Service Design and Prototyping for Digital Experiences and is an active participant in the USGS Center for Data Integration's Usability Collaboration Group. Holly is actively looking for new ways to gain experience in human-centered design, user experience, and usability and to implement these techniques into her work with USGS.

Holly completed her Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy and Management at The George Washington University. Holly received her B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the USGS in 2012, Holly worked for several organizations on strategic communications and organizational development.
