Myles Downhour

Myles is a Hydrologic Technician with the USGS Colorado Water Science Center (COWSC), Southeast Colorado Office, in Pueblo, CO

Myles began his career in the USGS Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center in Indianapolis, IN in 2014 as a student. In Indiana Myles worked primarily with in-situ water quality and nutrient monitors, using data for sediment and nutrient load modelling in agricultural watersheds to assess BMP’s and bank stabilization projects. After transitioning to the COWSC, Myles has continued his work in sediment, with a focus on suspended sediment sampling and load modelling. In addition to the sediment program, Myles collects and analyzes a wide variety of data for the Pueblo office’s water quality program.
