- Field Definition: The code used to indicate the satellite's orbital direction that applied when this data was acquired.
Values:
D = Descending
A = Ascending
- Field Definition: The GRS K (path)Grid Reference System. The SPOT Grid Reference System (GRS) is used to identify the geographic location of SPOT images. The grid is made up of nodes located at the intersection of columns (K) and rows (J). When data strips are split into scenes, the SPOT GRS links each scene with two K,J designators representing a GRS node. Once the K,J designators have been identified for a new scene, the designators are added to that scene's characteristics file.
Values:
001 through 738
- Field Definition: The GRS J (row)Grid Reference System.

X = Recorded
- Field Definition: A number that represents the SPOT image quality value.
Valid Codes:
8 = Very Good
5 = Good
2 = Poor
0 = Very Poor
- Field Definition: Indicates the percent of cloud cover in the upper right quadrant of the scene. Users are encouraged to preview browses prior to ordering data products to confirm acceptable cloud cover impacts.

Values:
Level 1T (L1T) = Radiometric, systematic and geometric corrections incorporating ground control points have been applied while employing a 90-meter Digital Elevation Model (DEM) for topographic accuracy. Geodetic accuracy of the product depends on the accuracy of the ground control points and are expected to be within 2.5 pixels. L1T scenes are available in GeoTIFF format.
Full Resolution Browse = A full resolution image provided in JPEG format for scenes that have been processed to Level 1T.
GIS Ready Bundle = A full resolution image in JPEG format is bundled with metadata and a world file to use in geographic information systems, image processing software and web mapping applications. This option provides users with a georeferenced JPEG image and is only available for scenes that have been processed to Level 1T.
