Why Use the USGS DLC for Your Training and Employee Development Needs?

Continually enhancing the skills of the USGS workforce is imperative as we continue to evolve as a scientific organization. Our ability to succeed in our science mission and support the USGS vision depends on the skills of our people. USGS DLC has played an integral part in accomplishing this goal since 1967.

The USGS Office of Organizational and Employee Development (OED) is dedicated to the development of human potential and the advancement of earth science. We strive to ensure scientific, technical and business excellence by providing resources and programs that help develop critical science, technical, administrative, information technology, leadership, supervisory, and safety knowledge and skills.
