Krishangi Groover
I am a research hydrologist whose current research focuses on the source, fate and movement of inorganic contaminants in surface water and groundwater.
My research has included characterizing subsurface environments and evaluating geological controls on the movement of contaminants in water. I study the factors that lead to dissolution, transport and recapture of inorganic trace metals such as arsenic, chromium, selenium, or uranium, in surface water and groundwater. I also work on understanding the factors that may influence the availability of trace elements-such as selenium-to wildlife.
