EORES Release 6.4.0 User Release Notes

EORES is a relational database system architecture that provides an integrated web-enabled tool for end users to store EO user requirements, value tree information, and EO system capabilities and performance information. End users can display, edit, browse, and maintain this information using a graphical user interface as well as export any data that are in the architecture.

New Features

Feature Modifications

  • Modification to the physical organization hierarchy database design and “name” data storage
    • The GUI now displays both the long and short name

Bug Fixes

  • Data Source global/unique saving has been fixed to operate properly

Web Services Impacts

  • The POH names data served by the web services was updated to use long name and short name
  • A new web service was created to access all person data: get_reports_person
  • The EORES Conceptual Data Model was updated to align with v6.4.0

Compatibility may be impacted

  • External files and tools utilizing POH data and web services may require updates to restore compatibility
  • External files and tools utilizing web services may wish to update to use new person data service
  • VTI Export has been updated for compatibility. See your POC for this tool to obtain the updated version.
