On November 30 – December 1, USGS EROS hosted the Landsat 9 Ground System Requirements Review (GSRR) in Sioux Falls, SD.
This was the first in a series of major project reviews for Landsat 9, which is scheduled for launch December 2020. The GSRR included presentations given to a joint NASA/USGS review panel on the proposed components of the Landsat 9 Ground System. At the conclusion of the review, the panel approved the Landsat 9 Ground System team to proceed to the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) stage. Visit the Landsat 9 web page for further information.
