Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

National Atmospheric Deposition Program Pollen Study Data for 2021 Pollen Season National Atmospheric Deposition Program Pollen Study Data for 2021 Pollen Season
Pollen was measured in ambient air by several methods and in wet atmospheric deposition samples at three monitoring sites in the National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) National Trends Network. A method for counting pollen on filters was developed and provided pollen counts for NADP atmospheric wet-deposition samples and high-volume ambient air samplers (HVAS) for comparison with...
Metal and other element partitioning in southwest Puerto Rico ultramafic soil, Rio Loco sediment, and Guanica Bay sediment Metal and other element partitioning in southwest Puerto Rico ultramafic soil, Rio Loco sediment, and Guanica Bay sediment
Five-stage sequential extractions were performed on ultramafic soil from Bosque Susua and Guanica Dry Forest, stream sediment from Rios Loco and Yauco, and nearshore sediment from Guanica Bay in southwest Puerto Rico. Sequential extractions showed partitioning of geologically enriched metals and other elements among five phases: 1) adsorbed and calcium-bound, 2) iron-, manganese...
Magnetotelluric Data from the San Andreas Fault, Loma Prieta CA, 1989-1990 Magnetotelluric Data from the San Andreas Fault, Loma Prieta CA, 1989-1990
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Geology, Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center (GGGSC) collaborated with the USGS Science Analytics and Synthesis (SAS) team to preserve and release a subset of magnetotelluric data from the San Andreas Fault in Loma Prieta, California. The San Andreas Fault data were collected by the Branch of Geophysics, a precursor to the now GGGSC, between 1989...
Geospatial dataset of the bathymetry, hydrodynamics, water quality, infrastructure, and channel condition of the Old Erie Canal from DeWitt to its junction with the current Erie Canal in Verona, near Rome, New York, 2018-19 Geospatial dataset of the bathymetry, hydrodynamics, water quality, infrastructure, and channel condition of the Old Erie Canal from DeWitt to its junction with the current Erie Canal in Verona, near Rome, New York, 2018-19
This data release contains spatial datasets of bathymetry, water velocity, water quality, and infrastructure of a 30.8 mile reach of the Old Erie Canal between the Town of DeWitt and its junction with the current Erie Canal of the New York State Canal System in Verona, near Rome, New York during 2018 and 2019, and is released in support of Open-File Report 2021-1125; Wernly, J.F., 2022

This data release contains the source code, executable file, and example files for WATRMod, a Water-budget Accounting for Tropical Regions Model code that is documented in U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 2022-1013 available at https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr20221013. The source code is written in the Fortran computer language. The model source code was compiled using Intel(R) Visual...
Whole Rock Major and Trace Element Chemistry for Igneous and Metamorphic Rocks from the Yukon-Tanana Upland, Alaska Whole Rock Major and Trace Element Chemistry for Igneous and Metamorphic Rocks from the Yukon-Tanana Upland, Alaska
This dataset consists of one table containing whole-rock geochemistry data for 753 igneous and metamorphic rocks from the Yukon-Tanana upland of eastern interior Alaska, collected between 2013 and 2019. All materials were analyzed by ALS Global, between 2014 and 2020, by a range of different techniques, so multiple unique entries for a given element relate to different analytical methods...
