Organic and Metal Contaminants in Fish Tissue Collected from the Niagara River Area of Concern, New York, 2018 Organic and Metal Contaminants in Fish Tissue Collected from the Niagara River Area of Concern, New York, 2018

Fish tissue from 203 samples collected at five locations in the Niagara River Area of Concern in 2018 were analyzed for a wide range of analytes including Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), pesticides (E1 and E2), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), organochlorine and other persistent organic compounds, metals, lipid and moisture. Over 230 analytes were analyzed in the tissue samples...

Data include a mark-recapture dataset of cutthroat trout. Data indicate date of marking and recapture, size at marking, growth, basin data were collected, year data were collected, and unique identification tags.

Landslide Inventories across the United States (ver. 2.0, June 2022) Landslide Inventories across the United States (ver. 2.0, June 2022)

Landslides are damaging and deadly, and they occur in every U.S. state. However, our current ability to understand landslide hazards at the national scale is limited, in part because spatial data on landslide occurrence across the U.S. varies greatly in quality, accessibility, and extent. Landslide inventories are typically collected and maintained by different agencies and institutions...

Sediment and Radiochemical Characteristics from Shore-Perpendicular Estuarine and Marsh Transects in the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Mississippi Sediment and Radiochemical Characteristics from Shore-Perpendicular Estuarine and Marsh Transects in the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Mississippi

To examine sediment transport and provenance between a marsh and estuary, surface sediments were collected along two transects in the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Mississippi (GNDNERR). Each shore-perpendicular transect consisted of fifteen surface samples, collected every 2.5 meters (m) from 10-m out into the estuary to 25-m into the marsh from the shoreline. Sediment...

Simulated Methane and Nitrous Oxide Emissions under Drought-induced Saltwater Intrusion in Tidal Freshwater Forested Wetlands Simulated Methane and Nitrous Oxide Emissions under Drought-induced Saltwater Intrusion in Tidal Freshwater Forested Wetlands

This dataset contains the result of simulated daily emissions of methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) from the soils in Tidal Freshwater Forested Wetlands (TFFW) along the Waccamaw River (SC, USA) and the Savannah River (GA and SC, USA) under drought-induced saltwater intrusion using a process-driven biogeochemistry model.

Mississippi Barrier Islands imagery (Cat, East and West Ship, Horn and Petit Bois) acquired February 2020 Mississippi Barrier Islands imagery (Cat, East and West Ship, Horn and Petit Bois) acquired February 2020

To document current Mississippi barrier island conditions, imagery was acquired February 28, 2020 using Airborne GPs and field control ground markers. For ground control, markers were established and surveyed in using Real Time Kinematic (RTK) survey equipment. The imagery collected will be processed to produce a mosaic of all 4 islands (Cat, East and West Ship, Horn and Petit Bois) and
