Data release for: Spatially explicit reconstruction of post-megafire forest recovery through landscape modeling Data release for: Spatially explicit reconstruction of post-megafire forest recovery through landscape modeling

This data release provides inputs needed to run the LANDIS PRO forest landscape model and the LINKAGES 3.0 ecosystem process model for the area burned by the Black Dragon Fire in northeast China in 1987, and simulation results that underlie figures and analysis in the accompanying publication. The data release includes the fire perimeter of Great Dragon Fire; input data for LINKAGES...

Data Release for "Comparability and reproducibility of biomarker ratio values measured by GC-QQQ-MS" Data Release for "Comparability and reproducibility of biomarker ratio values measured by GC-QQQ-MS"

This data release includes biomarker ratio values calculated from measurements made at the USGS for the reference oil NSO-1 that were reported in a journal article entitled Comparability and reproducibility of biomarker ratio values measured by GC-QQQ-MS (French et al., 2020). French, K.L., Leider, A., and Hallmann, C., 2020, Comparability and reproducibility of biomarker ratio values...

Field, geotechnical, and meteorological data of the 22 March 2018 narrow cold frontal rainband (NCFR) and its effects, Tuolumne River canyon, Sierra Nevada Foothills, California Field, geotechnical, and meteorological data of the 22 March 2018 narrow cold frontal rainband (NCFR) and its effects, Tuolumne River canyon, Sierra Nevada Foothills, California

This data release includes information used to support the manuscript "Linking mesoscale meteorology with extreme landscape response: effects of narrow cold frontal rainbands (NCFR)". The included datasets and supplement include information related to the 22 March 2018 NCFR and associated shallow landslides in the Toulumne Canyon triggered by this event. The three datasets and one...

Digital database of the geologic map of Alamagan Volcano, northern Mariana Islands Digital database of the geologic map of Alamagan Volcano, northern Mariana Islands

Alamagan Volcano is a Quaternary stratovolcano along the Mariana Arc, an active subduction zone in the western Pacific Ocean. Although primarily submerged, its peak reaches above sea level, with subaerially-exposed volcanic deposits dating back through the Holocene to the late Pleistocene. These feature data represent such deposits and other geologic features of Alamagan Volcano...

Genetic species identification of larval Coregonines from Chaumont Bay (New York), Lake Ontario Genetic species identification of larval Coregonines from Chaumont Bay (New York), Lake Ontario

Location, occurrence, collection information, and genetic species identification data in support of an analysis of the spatial separation of Lake Whitefish and Cisco larvae in Chaumont Bay, Lake Ontario, the last known spawning area of both species in American waters of Lake Ontario. Genetic species identification of larval coregonines collected between April 2004 and 2015 is provided...

Avalanche occurrence records along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Glacier National Park, Montana (ver. 5.0, March 2026) Avalanche occurrence records along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Glacier National Park, Montana (ver. 5.0, March 2026)

Starting in 2003, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center in West Glacier, MT, in collaboration with the National Park Service, collected avalanche observations along the Going to the Sun Road during the spring road-clearing operations. The spring road-clearing along Going to the Sun Road utilized a team of avalanche specialists from the USGS and Glacier...
