Concentrations of Flea Treatment Insecticides in Prairie Dog Bait Pellets Concentrations of Flea Treatment Insecticides in Prairie Dog Bait Pellets

A collaborative effort with US Fish and Wildlife Services is underway with the goal of reducing the spread of flea contracted plague in prairie dog (Cynomys spp.) colonies across the US. One method of flea reduction being studied involves spreading bait pellets containing insecticides commonly used for flea control around prairie dog habitats. To better understand the effectiveness of...

Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush) Morphometrics, Mercury Concentrations, Age and Growth, and Food Web Metrics for Lakes in Alaskan National Parks, 2020-2023 Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush) Morphometrics, Mercury Concentrations, Age and Growth, and Food Web Metrics for Lakes in Alaskan National Parks, 2020-2023

This data release provides information on lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush) collected from 10 lakes located in Alaska's national parks. The data are in two tables: (1) capture information, (2) morphometric measurements and mercury (Hg) concentrations, and a folder of individual photographs of captured lake trout. Lake trout were collected between September of 2020 and August of 2023 from...

Years since implementation of U.S. Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) vegetation management activities for bat habitat Years since implementation of U.S. Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) vegetation management activities for bat habitat

This data release contains the spatial raster outputs, R code, and lookup table from a synthesis of U.S. Forest Service Activity Tracking System (FACTS) vegetation management activities hypothesized to influence bat habitat. The included raster data cover the continental United States and represent the number of years that have passed since a given management action was implemented...

Three-Dimensional Chronostratigraphic Model and supporting well data for the Los Angeles Coastal Plain, Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California Three-Dimensional Chronostratigraphic Model and supporting well data for the Los Angeles Coastal Plain, Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California

This data release contains a digital geospatial dataset generated by the U.S. Geological Survey under a cooperative agreement with the Water Replenishment District of Southern California to characterize the three-dimensional hydrogeology of the Los Angeles Coastal Plain. The geospatial dataset covers about 580 square miles of the largest coastal plain of southern California and contains...

Cameron-Creole Watershed Grand Bayou Marsh Creation (CS-54) 2024 land-water classification Cameron-Creole Watershed Grand Bayou Marsh Creation (CS-54) 2024 land-water classification

The Louisiana State Legislature established the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act (CWPPRA) to conserve, restore, create and enhance Louisiana's coastal wetlands. Restoration plans developed under CWPPRA require evaluating the effectiveness of each project in achieving long-term solutions to coastal wetlands loss. This data set includes mosaicked aerial photographs...

Survival data for pronghorn fawns over the first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023 Survival data for pronghorn fawns over the first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023

This dataset includes a single file with (i) daily survival histories for pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) fawns monitored over their first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023, and (ii) covariate data associated with each fawn. Covariates included environmental conditions within the space-use area of each fawn's mother during the 30 days before parturition and daily...

Geochemical data from selected bedrock samples in the Deep River and Essex quadrangles, Middlesex and New London Counties, Connecticut Geochemical data from selected bedrock samples in the Deep River and Essex quadrangles, Middlesex and New London Counties, Connecticut

This data release comprises major and trace element geochemical data from ninety (90) selected bedrock samples in support of the identification, discrimination, and correlation of map units in the Deep River and Essex quadrangles, Middlesex County, Connecticut. In data tables, the attributes “map_unit_symbol” and "map_unit_name" correlate the sample to the map unit in a planned bedrock...

Screening Coral Tissue Samples (Colpophyllia natans) Collected From the Florida Keys Using a Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) Antibiotic Resistance Gene Microarray – Raw Data Screening Coral Tissue Samples (Colpophyllia natans) Collected From the Florida Keys Using a Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) Antibiotic Resistance Gene Microarray – Raw Data

The files in this data release are those referenced in the journal article by Neely and others (2026) entitled “Assessment of antibiotic resistance genes in Caribbean corals, including those treated with amoxicillin.” They represent the raw fluorescence data and threshold cycle (Ct) data generated from quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) microarray runs using deoxyribonucleic...
