Phenology Viewer

The Phenology Viewer provides a dynamic online map interface that can be used to view USGS Remote Sensing Phenology and other datasets.

Distribution of Hydraulically Fractured Oil and Gas Wells - 1947 through 2010

Find the number of hydraulically fractured horizontal, vertical, and directional oil and gas wells by drill (spud) year and by 8-digit U.S. Geological Survey hydrologic unit (HUC).

Wildlife Health Information Sharing Partnership – event reporting system (WHISPers)

WHISPers, the Wildlife Health Information Sharing Partnership - event reporting system, is a partner-driven, web-based repository for sharing basic information about historic and ongoing wildlife mortality (death) and/or morbidity (illness) events.

Interactive Map: Northeast Region Drought Streamflow Probabilities

This application allows the display and query of drought probability. Maximum likelihood logistic regression is used to estimate drought probabilities for selected Northeast region streams.

Geologic Map Catalog

Provides access to more than 100,000 geologic maps and other types of geoscience reports and data published from the early 1800s to the present day, by the USGS, the State Geological Surveys, and hundreds of other organizations.

Photomicrograph Atlas

A database of images related to the characterization of fossil fuel resources in the United States and the world.

Water-Quality Changes in the Nation's Streams and Rivers

The trends mapper provides results from the largest-ever assessment of water-quality changes in the Nation's streams and rivers. More than 185 million water-quality records from over 600 Federal, State, Tribal, and local organizations were screened as part of this assessment.

The mapper shows stream trends in water chemistry and aquatic ecology for four time periods from 1972-2012.

Predicted Shorelines for High Flows on the Colorado River Application

This application highlights modeled flows of the Colorado River for a discharge of 41,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) that is approximate to recent (2012 - 2018) and future anticipated water releases associated with a High Flow Experiments conducted from Glen Canyon Dam near Page, Arizona.  These data are to help visualize the water levels during High Flow Events in relation to othe

National Coal Resources Data System (NCRDS) Database Query

Query, browse, and download descriptive stratigraphic data associated with numerous locations throughout the United States.

National Petroleum Reserve, Alaska, (NPRA) Legacy Seismic Data Archive

The National Petroleum Reserve, Alaska, (NPRA) Legacy Data Archive represents one of the largest geological and geophysical data sets held by the U.S. Geological Survey.  Two exploration programs by the U.S. Navy and USGS collected over 12,000 line miles of seismic data and drilled 28 wells.  These programs generated a vast amount of data, analyses, and documents, much of which is presented here.

NCRDS USTRAT Spatial Viewer

This viewer allows users to see the location and underlying data associated with NCRDS USTRAT data points. The NCRDS Spatial Viewer was expanded to display data from the USCHEM and USCOAL databases in FY2011.
