CAP Fellows Program Kicks Off Second Cohort
At their first in-person meeting in August 2023, the CASC’s Climate Adaptation Postdoctoral Fellows learned how to manage the challenges and rewards of collaborative synthesis science.
First CASC Early Career Workshop Held in 2021
Over a hundred early career researchers, graduate students, and postdocs gathered in Albuquerque, New Mexico to connect and learn more about actionable science.
Early Career Climate Network (ECCN)
Funded in part by CASC-affiliated universities, the ECCN is a community of early-career climate change researchers and professionals who learn from each other and collaborate.
The CASC network has supported over 200 students and early-career scientists through 10+ fellowship and training programs. Participants conduct groundbreaking research on climate change impacts and adaptation, develop skills in science communication and partner engagement, and build networks of peers and mentors to support future career development.
Regional CASC Opportunities
Many regional CASCs offer research and training opportunities for early-career researchers at their consortium institutions and across their region. These programs help participants explore unique climate challenges in their areas and develop regional professional networks.
