09471143 - Walnut Gulch below ARS Flume 6, near Tombstone, AZ - 07/28/2017 Manning's n Verification

Continuous slope-area (CSA) sensors are installed at four cross sections downstream from Flume 6 operated by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) at the Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed. Stage data were recorded by submersible pressure transducers at each of the four cross sections, which is used to compute channel roughness using the known discharge measured by Flume 6.

09471143 - Walnut Gulch below ARS Flume 6, near Tombstone, AZ - 07/28/2017 Flow Event Data

The dataset consists of a slope-area computation of peak discharge (published via NWIS), stage data from continuous slope-area (CSA) sensors, CSA computations of discharge data, verified Manning's roughness coefficients (n), channel geometry and reach properties associated with Manning's n computations, and GPS survey data associated with the flow event on July 28, 201

09471143 - Walnut Gulch below ARS Flume 6, near Tombstone, AZ - 08/02/2017 GPS Survey

Continuous slope-area sensors are installed at four cross sections downstream from Flume 6 operated by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) at the Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed. The CSA reach was installed to test the CSA method and determine channel roughness using the known discharge measured by Flume 6. A flow event occurred on July 28, 2017. A GPS survey was conducted on August...

Controlled source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) data from the Big Chino Wash and Paulden areas, Yavapai County, Arizona

Controlled source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) data were collected in the Big Chino Valley and Paulden areas, Yavapai County, Arizona, to better understand the hydrogeology of the area. CSAMT data provide vertical cross-section (profile) data about the resistivity of the subsurface, which may be related to lithologic boundaries and (or) grain-size distribution in the subsurface....

Code for use within Matlab for computing the damping and lag time of responses to cyclical infiltration in a layered vadose zone in Central Valley, California

This data release contains code for computing the filtering properties of cyclical infiltration in a layered vadose zone in Central Valley, California. The code for computing the filtering is described in a manuscript that is under review at Vadose Zone Journal. The updated data contained in this data release are the code to compute the filtering properties of the vadose zone. This code was...
