Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration (NRDAR)

USGS provides scientific support to the DOI Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration (NRDAR) program. Scientists conduct research and provide technical expertise to evaluate natural resources injuries from hazardous substance releases and support restoration activities for the recovery of those resources.
