Our research is widely used to manage Oregon's water resources for the benefit and safety of people and the environment.
Our Capabilities
The Oregon Water Science Center uses state-of-the-art techniques for data collection and interpretation. We employ rigorous quality-control methods in carrying out our activites. Our scientists have a wide range of expertise in all areas of water science, including: water quality, groundwater, surface water, and aquatic ecosystems.
Working with the USGS
The Oregon Water Science Center partners with Federal, State, County, local, Tribal, and public entities in the conduct of our scientific investigations. These partnerships are in the form of shared funding and other services.
