June 20, 2017 – Pecora 20 Conference Deadlines Approaching

Abstracts and workshop proposals for the Pecora 20 Conference are due July 1, 2017. The conference will be held November 14-16, 2017 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Established by the USGS and NASA in the 1970's, the Pecora meetings serve as a forum to foster the exchange of scientific information and results derived from applications of Earth-observing data to a broad range of land-based resources, and to discuss ideas, policies, and strategies concerning land remote sensing.

Important Conference Dates:

July 1, 2017 – Abstracts and workshop proposals due
July 14, 2017 – Notice of abstract acceptance
August 1, 2017 - Notice of workshop acceptance
September 15, 2017 – Speaker registration
October 13, 2017 – Paper deadline (for inclusion in proceedings)
