March 6, 2017 – Landsat 8 Collection 1 Data Available

Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS Collection 1 data acquired over the United States from 2015 to present are now available for download from Collection 1 Level-1 dataset category on EarthExplorer. 

Scenes will be continually added to the dataset as processing continues, until all Landsat 8 data are processed into Collection 1 standards.  Landsat 4-5 TM and Landsat 7 ETM+ Collection 1 data are also available from the same dataset category on EarthExplorer.
 
Landsat Collection 1 data contain notable improvements from Pre-Collection data. The Landsat Collections page provides details about the data changes.
