Changes Coming to Landsat’s Simple Notification Service on Amazon Web Service
Updates being made this week to the commercial cloud access infrastructure at the USGS EROS Center will affect the Amazon Web Service (AWS) Simple Notification Service (SNS) topics that provide notifications whenever new Landsat products have been added to the Landsat archive on AWS.
Please read this Landsat Headline for more information about the required maintenance from 8:00 a.m. CDT Tuesday, June 27th to 4:00 p.m. CDT Wednesday June 28th.
New AWS SNS topics for Landsat products will be released at the end of the maintenance period at 4:00 pm CDT on Wednesday, June 28th. Users that have subscribed to any Landsat AWS SNS topics will be asked to re-subscribe to the newly created topics to maintain notifications.
Updated SNS topic information will be added to the Landsat Commercial Cloud Data Access when it becomes available.
