Upcoming Extended Interruption to Landsat Data Access
Starting at 8:00 PM CDT on Friday, April 15, 2022, USGS data access portals will be unavailable due to archive database upgrades. Data access portals will remain unavailable until 12:00 PM CDT on Monday, April 18, 2022.
Direct access to Landsat through the commercial cloud will remain available. However, Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 data acquired during this time will not be processed until all systems resume on Monday.
The following sites will be unavailable for downloading data:
- EarthExplorer
- Bulk Download Application
- Machine-to-Machine (M2M) API
- LandsatLook
- GloVis
- HDDSExplorer
- LPCSExplorer
- ESPA
- CIDR
- CMT
These sites will remain available, but will only show information through Friday:
- Commercial Cloud Direct Access
- Landsat Bulk Metadata *
- Landsat Acquisition Tool *
