USGS is a primary source of geographic information system (GIS) data. Our data and information is presented in spatial and geographic formats, including The National Map, Earth Explorer, GloVIS, LandsatLook, and much more.
This web interface allows users to explore a 3D geologic framework model developed for the Columbia Plateau regional aquifer system as part of a USGS assessment of groundwater availability. The geologic model consists of geologic units with their associated thickness and elevations.
The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service, Mississippi Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Agriculture-Forest Service, and the Mississippi Automated Resource Information System, developed a 1:24,000-scale Watershed Boundary Dataset for Mississipp.
