Travis K Sterne

At USGS, I support research efforts to analyze and further understand environmental factors that drive coastal change hazards. My primary focus is the development of a geospatial decision tree framework to predict the likelihood of change in landform or coastal system function.

Biography

Growing up on the Gulf coast of Texas instilled in me a great appreciation for marine environments, and several coastlines and oceans have provided me with a sanctuary in which to work and play. Previously, I have worked as a scuba diving instructor in Southeast Asia, Mexico, and the South Pacific, and as a research technician for NOAA's Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary.
