The data set consists of eastern box turtle encounters made at Patuxent Refuge from 2019-2025 as part of organized field surveys on Central Tract.

Nest number, description of nest structure and location, longitude, latitude, dates of observations, presence of adults, eggs, nestlings, outcome of reproductive effort, number of young fledged, body weight and culmen length of some nestlings, and osprey nest platforms occupied by Canada geese.
