EverSparrow model scripts and outputs EverSparrow model scripts and outputs

EverSparrow is a spatially explicit Bayesian model of Cape Sable Seaside Sparrow (Ammospiza maritima mirabilis; CSSS) presence that quantifies the interdependent relationships between a range of environmental factors and CSSS presence. Using hydrologic conditions such as mean 4-year hydroperiod and maximum depth, fire occurrence history, and vegetation structure throughout the range of...

Exceedance Probability and Predictor Data for Uranium and Radon concentrations in New Hampshire Groundwater Exceedance Probability and Predictor Data for Uranium and Radon concentrations in New Hampshire Groundwater

Statewide maps of the probability of exceeding a given concentration of either uranium (U) or radon (Rn) in New Hampshire groundwater (represented as statewide rasters) are the product of statistical analyses and are available here. The dependent variables in these statistical models were either 1) the natural log of Rn concentrations or 2) a dichotomous variable indicating the...

Exogenous and endogenous factors influence invasive reptile movement at multiple scales, 2018 - 2019 Exogenous and endogenous factors influence invasive reptile movement at multiple scales, 2018 - 2019

These data reflect movement values for brown treesnakes from Guam that were translocated (moved by humans) to new locations or were resident (left in place) on Guam. The data are related to the specimen's treatment group, individual values, locations and other details affiliated with radio telemetry based acquisition and positional changes by the individual snakes across tracking events...

Exotic annual grass (EAG) phenology estimates for western U.S. rangelands based on 30-m HLS NDVI (ver. 4.0, August 2025) Exotic annual grass (EAG) phenology estimates for western U.S. rangelands based on 30-m HLS NDVI (ver. 4.0, August 2025)

Phenological dynamics reflect the vegetation response to changes in weather, vegetation composition, plant life stages pertinent to both agricultural and fire management and are thus important to monitor operationally. The Exotic Annual Grass (EAG) phenology in the western U.S. rangeland based on 30-m Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 (HLS) Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI)...

Experimental infection of Mexican free-tailed bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) with SARS-CoV-2 Experimental infection of Mexican free-tailed bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) with SARS-CoV-2

We experimentally challenged wild Mexican free-tailed bats (TABR) with SARS-CoV-2 to determine the susceptibility, reservoir potential, and population impacts of infection in this species. Of nine bats oronasally inoculated with SARS-CoV-2, five became infected and orally excreted moderate amounts of virus for up to 18 days post inoculation. These five subjects all seroconverted and...

Extractable elements data for sediment-source fingerprinting in Black Creek, Indiana, tributary to the Maumee River and western Lake Erie Extractable elements data for sediment-source fingerprinting in Black Creek, Indiana, tributary to the Maumee River and western Lake Erie

This data release includes chemical data for samples from upland-source and streambank sampling sites in the Black Creek basin, Indiana. Data include concentrations for 20 elements, extracted by Mehlich-3 extraction. Source samples were collected in August and September 2017 and analyzed in 2019.

Extreme gradient boosting machine learning models, suspended sediment, bedload, streamflow, and geospatial data, Minnesota, 2007-2019 Extreme gradient boosting machine learning models, suspended sediment, bedload, streamflow, and geospatial data, Minnesota, 2007-2019

A series of machine learning (ML) models were developed for Minnesota. The ML models were trained and tested using suspended sediment, bedload, streamflow, and geospatial data to predicted suspended sediment and bedload. Suspended sediment, bedload, and streamflow data were collected during water years 2007 through 2019. The ML models were used to improve understanding of sediment...

Farmington Lake Sediment Descriptions, Total Sediment Chemistry, and Batch Experiment Chemistry Farmington Lake Sediment Descriptions, Total Sediment Chemistry, and Batch Experiment Chemistry

These datasets provide information about the physical properties, total sediment chemistry, and batch experiment chemistry (to evaluate element mobility) of sediment cores from the Farmington Lake reservoir in Farmington, NM. The sediment cores were collected in November 2019.

Fault data collected between 1996 and 2019 from the Buffalo River watershed area, northern Arkansas Fault data collected between 1996 and 2019 from the Buffalo River watershed area, northern Arkansas

Information on the locations and characteristics of faults were collected while conducting fieldwork between 1996 and 2019 in support of geologic mapping in the Buffalo River watershed area of northern Arkansas. A total of 1274 entries on faults were recorded at 452 sites. The observations associated with faults include seven categories of increasing completeness of information.

February 2020 National Wetlands Inventory, Mississippi Barrier Islands Habitat Classification: (Cat Island, Ship Island, Petit Bois Island and Horn Island) February 2020 National Wetlands Inventory, Mississippi Barrier Islands Habitat Classification: (Cat Island, Ship Island, Petit Bois Island and Horn Island)

This data set consists of digital data describing wetlands and uplands habitats for the Mississippi Coastal Improvements Program (MsCIP) area, consisting of Cat, Ship, Horn and Petit Bois Islands for the year 2020. Wetlands were classified using the Cowardin, et al., wetlands classification scheme to the level of freshwater and tidal, salinity modifiers. Uplands were classified using a...

FiCli: Fish and Climate Change Database (2021 Update) FiCli: Fish and Climate Change Database (2021 Update)

Note: this data release has been superseded by a newer version, available here: https://doi.org/10.5066/P9973SMC. Inland fishes provide important ecosystem services to communities worldwide and are especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Fish respond to climate change in diverse and nuanced ways which creates challenges for practitioners of fish conservation, climate...
