Surficial geologic map database for the Wheeler Peak, Raton, Springer, and Taos 30-minute by 60-minute quadrangles, New Mexico Surficial geologic map database for the Wheeler Peak, Raton, Springer, and Taos 30-minute by 60-minute quadrangles, New Mexico

This data release presents geologic map data for the surficial geology of the Wheeler Peak, Raton, Springer, and Taos 30-minute by 60-minute quadrangles, New Mexico. This 1:100,000 scale geologic mapping incorporates new interpretive contributions and compilation from 1:24,000 to 1:250,000 scale published geologic map data sources. Much of the geology incorporated from previous...

Surrogate Regression Model for Computation of Chloride Concentrations at Station 05427965 Spring Harbor Storm Sewer at Madison, Wisconsin (2014-2024) Surrogate Regression Model for Computation of Chloride Concentrations at Station 05427965 Spring Harbor Storm Sewer at Madison, Wisconsin (2014-2024)

In cooperation with the City of Madison and the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has collected discrete storm sewer samples for analysis of chloride concentrations at a real-time streamflow and water-quality monitoring (specific conductance) station located at Spring Harbor Storm Sewer in Madison, Wisconsin (USGS station 05427965). Data...

Surveyed coordinates and elevations in a 2019 survey of new and previously established cross sections on the Green River in Browns Park, Colorado and Utah Surveyed coordinates and elevations in a 2019 survey of new and previously established cross sections on the Green River in Browns Park, Colorado and Utah

These data were compiled for the National Park Service. Objective(s) of our study were to resurvey previously established cross sections on the Green River in Browns Park, Colorado and Utah, to document changes in channel width, depth, and cross-sectional area. In addition, new cross sections were established in areas that lacked previously surveyed cross sections. These data represent...

Survival and bioaccumulation data for arctic grayling (Thymallus arcticus) exposed to 6PPDQ Survival and bioaccumulation data for arctic grayling (Thymallus arcticus) exposed to 6PPDQ

This data set includes survival data for arctic grayling exposed to various concentrations of 6PPD-quinone (6PPDQ) for up to 96 hours. Concurrently collected analytical water chemistry and general water quality measurements are included. In addition, tissue concentrations of 6PPDQ for fish that died during exposure and those that survived to the end of the exposure are included.

Survival and bioaccumulation data for sensitive salmonids exposed to 6PPDQ with additional survival data for two bass species Survival and bioaccumulation data for sensitive salmonids exposed to 6PPDQ with additional survival data for two bass species

This data set includes survival data for five fish species [Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch); Brook Trout (Salvelinus fontinalis); Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss); Smallmouth Bass (Micropterus dolomieu); Largemouth Bass (Micropterus nigricans)] exposed to various concentrations of 6PPD-quinone (6PPDQ) for up to 96 hours and then held in clean water for one week post exposure...

Survival data for pronghorn fawns over the first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023 Survival data for pronghorn fawns over the first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023

This dataset includes a single file with (i) daily survival histories for pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) fawns monitored over their first 15 days of life in western Oklahoma during 2022 and 2023, and (ii) covariate data associated with each fawn. Covariates included environmental conditions within the space-use area of each fawn's mother during the 30 days before parturition and daily...

Suwannee River estuary juvenile Gulf sturgeon habitat use: February 2023 Suwannee River estuary juvenile Gulf sturgeon habitat use: February 2023

These data were collected as part of a larger Monitoring and Adaptive Management project, approved by the Open Ocean Trustee Implementation Group, investigating juvenile Gulf sturgeon (Acipenser desotoi) winter habitat use across the species' range to address data gaps in baseline status and conditions, restoration needs, and framework for monitoring restoration success. From 2020 to...

SWAT Outputs for Baseline Soil and Water Assessment for Los Planes Watershed, Baja California Sur, Mexico SWAT Outputs for Baseline Soil and Water Assessment for Los Planes Watershed, Baja California Sur, Mexico

This data release contains Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) outputs (.shp) for three precipitation scenarios for the Los Planes watershed in Baja California Sur, Mexico. The inputs used are publicly available low-resolution data from international sources to produce uncalibrated baseline model conditions. The outputs for each scenario include annual average surface runoff (mm), sediment...

Synthesized Domestic Well Database for the Conterminous United States Synthesized Domestic Well Database for the Conterminous United States

Self-supplied domestic water sources play a significant role in the United States' water landscape, serving approximately 13 percent of the nation's population as of 2015 (Dieter and others, 2018). However, these sources present unique challenges for water resource management and research due to the lack of monitoring, withdrawal location, and place-of-use data. To address this data gap...

Synthetic geologic deformation model distributions for use in 2025 USGS Puerto Rico-U.S. Virgin Islands National Seismic Hazard Model update Synthetic geologic deformation model distributions for use in 2025 USGS Puerto Rico-U.S. Virgin Islands National Seismic Hazard Model update

This Data Release provides synthetic probability density functions used in the geologic deformation model as part of the 2025 National Seismic Hazard Model update for Puerto Rico-U.S. Virgin Islands. We include files implemented in the earthquake rupture forecast using the inversion framework. Modeling philosophy and methodologies are described in the interpretative companion manuscript...

TA HVSR Curves and Peak Frequencies TA HVSR Curves and Peak Frequencies

Earthquake ground motions are modified by local geologic site conditions. Soft soils and basin sediments may amplify and prolong the duration of ground shaking, necessitating site characterization to improve existing ground motion predictions and seismic hazard analyses. Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) measurements distinguish one or more site resonant frequencies and the...

Tabular geochemical data from Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic rocks in the Lane Mountain area, San Bernardino County, California Tabular geochemical data from Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic rocks in the Lane Mountain area, San Bernardino County, California

This dataset provides whole-rock geochemical data for selected igneous, metamorphic, and volcanic rock samples collected in the Lane Mountain area about 20 to 30 kilometers northeast of Barstow, California, between the years 2014 and 2021. Data are reported for 231 analyses from 226 samples. Samples include Paleozoic and Mesozoic plutonic and metamorphic rocks and Cenozoic volcanic rocks...
