The USGS SAFRR team partnered with the Los Angeles County Community Disaster Resilience (LACCDR) 3-year pilot collaboration, sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Mental Health that aims to engage community-based organizations in providing leadership and partnership to promote community resilience in the face of a wide range of public health emergencies, from pandemics to gang violence to earthquakes.
