Michael Wieczorek holds a B.S. in Geography from Towson State University (1991). Since 1992, he has worked as a GIS specialist for the National Water Quality Program at the Nebraska and Ohio Water Science Centers and is currently the lead GIS specialist for the Hydrologic Systems Team in NAWQA. He is active in the USGS' Earth-Science Themes Working Group and the Community of Data Integration.
