Early Estimates of Exotic Annual Grass (EAG) in the Sagebrush Biome, USA, 2024

The 2024 update of the Exotic Annual Grass (EAG) dataset is now available, providing crucial information about the abundance of invasive grass species in rangeland ecosystems of the western United States. During the months of April to June, estimates of percent cover are provided on a weekly basis. Land managers, including the Bureau of Land Management, use this dataset to assess the effectiveness of treatments, prepare for the upcoming fire season, and target areas for restoration.
