Detailed Description
The USGS Nansemond research station. The Nansemond extensometer (59D 39) is located in the tan building. The surficial aquifer observation well (59D 40) is located in the green standpipe on the left, the lower (59D 34) and middle (59D 35) Potomac aquifer observation wells are in the middle green standpipe, and the upper (59D 36) Potomac aquifer and Piney Point (59D 37) aquifer observation wells are in the green standpipe on the far right.
