Habitat and biological assemblage data of streams within Tribal lands of the Pearl River Community of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, 2017-18 Habitat and biological assemblage data of streams within Tribal lands of the Pearl River Community of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, 2017-18

This data release contains habitat survey data (quantitative and qualitative) and biological assemblage data (periphyton, macroinvertebrate, and fish) collected among 8 stream sites within the Tribal lands of the Pearl River Community of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI). The MBCI is a Federally recognized Native American Tribe and the Pearl River Community, located near...

Bathymetry, Stage-Area, and Stage-Volume Tables for the Calaveras Reservoir, California, 2019 (ver. 2.0, March 2025) Bathymetry, Stage-Area, and Stage-Volume Tables for the Calaveras Reservoir, California, 2019 (ver. 2.0, March 2025)

Dataset contains reservoir bathymetry and shoreline topography up to dam crest elevation. Data were collected using small uncrewed aerial system (sUAS), multibeam sonar, and terrestrial lidar. Version 2.0 The multibeam sonar & terrestrial lidar data in version 2 was reprocessed for higher accuracy. 1-meter lidar data for 2020 from the USGS 3DEP program was used around the shoreline of...

High-resolution bathymetry and backscatter data collected near the Stamp Sands of Lake Superior in 2021 High-resolution bathymetry and backscatter data collected near the Stamp Sands of Lake Superior in 2021

The erosion and active transport of legacy mine tailings (called “stamp sands”) are impacting native fish species and aquatic habitats on a shallow water rocky reef complex along the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan called Buffalo Reef. Stamp sands are spreading from an old mill site at the Town of Gay and settling on the reef. Multiple surveys have documented the underwater migration of...

Digital database of the previously published geomorphic-structural map of the Ouachita Mountains Digital database of the previously published geomorphic-structural map of the Ouachita Mountains

The Ouachita Mountains record the late Paleozoic Laurentia-Gondwana orogenic event along southern Paleo-North America during Pangea supercontinent formation. This data release contains a digital compilation of geomorphic-structural information from the Ouachita Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma and southwestern Arkansas as previously published by Arbenz (2008). The geodatabase...

40Ar/39Ar data from the Janub Metamorphic Complex, Southern Jordan 40Ar/39Ar data from the Janub Metamorphic Complex, Southern Jordan

This data release includes 40Ar/39Ar collected at the U.S. Geological Survey for samples from the Janub Metamorphic Complex in Southern Jordan. Rock samples were collected by Hind Ghanem of the University of Jordan. Muscovite-rich microcores were drilled from a polished thick section of a deformed granitoid and analyzed by argon geochronology at the U.S. Geological Survey Bascom ARgon...

Hydraulic Model Archive and Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) Results for Simulations of Invasive Carp Egg and Larval Drift in the Maumee River, Ohio (ver. 1.1, July 2023) Hydraulic Model Archive and Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) Results for Simulations of Invasive Carp Egg and Larval Drift in the Maumee River, Ohio (ver. 1.1, July 2023)

The U.S. Geological Survey simulated the drift and dispersal of invasive carp eggs and larvae in the Maumee River, Ohio, using the Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) (Garcia and others, 2013; Domanski, 2020). The hydraulic inputs used in the FluEgg simulations were generated using a one-dimensional Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) 5.0.7 model of the Maumee...

40Ar/39Ar isotopic data and electron microprobe data from muscovite in the Sukari gold deposit, Egypt 40Ar/39Ar isotopic data and electron microprobe data from muscovite in the Sukari gold deposit, Egypt

This data release includes electron microprobe and 40Ar/39Ar collected at the U.S. Geological Survey for samples from the Sukari gold deposit in the Eastern Desert of Egypt. Rock samples were collected by Basem Zoheir--Benha University/University of Kiel. Muscovite from a polished thick section of sericitized wall rock was analyzed by electron probe microanalysis at the U.S. Geological...

Bioclimatic suitability for 11 dominant Colorado Plateau perennial grass species (ver. 2.0, November 2022) Bioclimatic suitability for 11 dominant Colorado Plateau perennial grass species (ver. 2.0, November 2022)

These data were compiled to represent the distribution of environmental conditions with recognized importance to perennial grasses in dryland areas of the western U.S. Objective(s) of our study were to … evaluate how those environmental drivers are related to perennial grass distributions and use the results to assess how perennial grass distributions may shift in response to future...

Comma Separated Value (CSV) file containing data related to total and methyl mercury concentrations in biota from the Willamette Basin in Oregon; specifically, Cottage Grove Reservoir, waters upstream of the reservoir, and additional reservoirs within the Willamette Basin.

United States Register of Introduced and Invasive Species (US-RIIS) (ver. 2.0, November 2022) United States Register of Introduced and Invasive Species (US-RIIS) (ver. 2.0, November 2022)

Introduced (non-native) species that become established may eventually become invasive, so tracking all introduced species provides a baseline for effective modeling of species trends and interactions, geospatially and temporally. The United States Register of Introduced and Invasive Species (US-RIIS) (ver. 2.0, November 2022, https://doi.org/10.5066/P9KFFTOD), as of 2022-10-23, is...
