This geonarrative is an interactive online presentation of the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center's data collection efforts related to Hurricane Ida. This geonarrative includes a summary of the storm in Pennsylvania, USGS data collection methods, embedded interactive maps of flood extents in 5 southeastern Pennsylvania localities, and visual depictions of the storm’s impact across the state.

This application allows the display and query of groundwater drought probabilities for Northeast region wells. This application allows users to view, query, select, and export groundwater drought probabilities for next three months.

A method (commonly referred to as the Frimpter method) was developed in early 1980’s to estimate probable high groundwater levels across Massachusetts. The map and table on the web page linked above provide information on wells in the Massachusetts Observation-Well Network which have been used as index wells.

The Nontidal Network Mapper geonarrative is a data-driven, interactive narrative that shares the short-term water-year nutrient and suspended-sediment load and trend results for the Chesapeake Bay Program’s non-tidal network (NTN). The mapper provides the primary findings for nitrogen, phosphorus and suspended-sediment trends, and gives the user tools to further examine results.

The Chesapeake Data Catalog Application is designed to allow users to identify and interact with datasets used in and across efforts related to the USGS Chesapeake Bay Watershed studies. Metadata gathered for items included in the Catalog for which this app was developed are intended to inform users of dataset details, indicate best practice
