Data Releases
The data collected and the techniques used by USGS scientists should conform to or reference national and international standards and protocols if they exist and when they are relevant and appropriate. For datasets of a given type, and if national or international metadata standards exist, the data are indexed with metadata that facilitates access and integration.

Statistical predictions of groundwater levels and related spatial diagnostics for the Mississippi River Valley alluvial aquifer from the mmlMRVAgen1 statistical machine-learning software Statistical predictions of groundwater levels and related spatial diagnostics for the Mississippi River Valley alluvial aquifer from the mmlMRVAgen1 statistical machine-learning software
A multiple machine-learning model (Asquith and Killian, 2024) implementing Cubist and Random Forest regressions was used to predict monthly mean groundwater levels through time for the available years described in the metadata for the Mississippi River Valley alluvial aquifer (MRVA). The MRVA is the surficial aquifer of the Mississippi Alluvial Plain (MAP), located in the south-central...
Stream stage, stream temperature, and climate metrics for 30 streams spanning land use and management gradients in the Delmarva Peninsula of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, 2022 Stream stage, stream temperature, and climate metrics for 30 streams spanning land use and management gradients in the Delmarva Peninsula of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, 2022
This data release contains summary metrics describing stream stage, stream water temperature, and short-term climate conditions (daily precipitation and air temperature) for 30 streams spanning gradients of forest and row-crop land uses and agricultural best management practice implementation in the Delmarva Peninsula of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, USA. This setting is the second...

These are data related to the collection of samples on the FK190612 research expedition in the north Pacific Ocean along the Cascadia margin in June 2019.
Von Damm Vent Field geochemical and mineralogical data Von Damm Vent Field geochemical and mineralogical data
This data release contains geochemical data, X-ray diffractograms (XRD), inorganic carbon isotope values, and Raman spectra from rocks collected in 2020 at Von Damm vent field on the Mid Cayman Rise.
Digital elevation models for the Everglades Depth Estimation Network with elevation uncertainty treatment (ver. 2.0, March 2025) Digital elevation models for the Everglades Depth Estimation Network with elevation uncertainty treatment (ver. 2.0, March 2025)
The Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) produces daily depth estimates for the Greater Everglades. This data release includes geospatial data to produce depth estimates for the EDEN from updated digital elevation models. The data release includes three main types of data: 1) 10-m digital elevation models (DEMs) with elevation uncertainty treatment; 2) 50-m DEMs with elevation...
Yucaipa Integrated Hydrologic Model: simulating future climate scenarios in the Yucaipa Valley Watershed, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, California Yucaipa Integrated Hydrologic Model: simulating future climate scenarios in the Yucaipa Valley Watershed, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, California
Managing water resources in semiarid watersheds is challenging because of limited water supply and uncertain impacts of future climate conditions on groundwater resources. This paper examines the impact of future climate changes on the urban Yucaipa Valley watershed in southern California using an integrated hydrological model referred to herein as the Yucaipa model. Coupled Groundwater...
Data release for determination of antimycin–a in liquid formulation by high performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry Data release for determination of antimycin–a in liquid formulation by high performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry
Pesticide formulations containing the active ingredient Antimycin-A (ANT-A) have been used by fisheries and aquaculture managers for several decades to remove nuisance fish species. Analytical methods for measuring ANT-A during pesticide treatments have been reported using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) paired with multiple detection methods (e.g., electrochemical...
Simulations of the groundwater-flow system in the Cache and Grand Prairie Critical Groundwater Areas, northeastern Arkansas (ver. 2.0, November 2024) Simulations of the groundwater-flow system in the Cache and Grand Prairie Critical Groundwater Areas, northeastern Arkansas (ver. 2.0, November 2024)
The Mississippi Alluvial Plain (MAP) is one of the most important agricultural regions in the United States and underlies about 32,000 square miles of Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The MAP region supports a multibillion-dollar agricultural industry. The MAP is part of the Mississippi Embayment with several water-bearing units that make up the...
Airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey of Illinois River Basin, 2023 Airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey of Illinois River Basin, 2023
Airborne electromagnetic (AEM) and magnetic survey data were collected during January and February 2023 over a distance of 3,799.3 line kilometers covering the Illinois River Basin and surrounding regions in Illinois and Indiana. Data were collected as part of the USGS Illinois River Basin Next Generation Water Observing Systems (NGWOS) project to improve understanding of depth to...
Sedimentologic Data From Vibracores Collected in 2023 From St. Andrew Bay, Florida Sedimentologic Data From Vibracores Collected in 2023 From St. Andrew Bay, Florida
In April 2023, scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) collected 11 sediment vibracores within East Bay, St. Andrew Bay, Florida (FL). Sediment vibracore and lithology data in this data release provide assessments on the composition and age of sediments below the seafloor. This data release serves as an archive of...
Principal facts of regional gravity data in the central Upper Peninsula, Michigan, 2022-2023 Principal facts of regional gravity data in the central Upper Peninsula, Michigan, 2022-2023
Gravity data were collected in 2022 and 2023 to assist in mapping surface and subsurface geology in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This data release provides principal facts for 666 new gravity stations that were acquired to supplement existing public gravity data coverage.
Density and magnetic susceptibility measurements on Precambrian rocks in the central Upper Peninsula, Michigan, 2021-2022 Density and magnetic susceptibility measurements on Precambrian rocks in the central Upper Peninsula, Michigan, 2021-2022
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) collected rock physical property measurements to help understand causative sources of gravity and magnetic survey anomalies in the central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A total of 1,460 measurements of magnetic susceptibility and density from 61 outcrops and 37 boreholes have been conducted on Precambrian rocks. The measurements aid in interpretation of...
