Flood Inundation Mapper - New England

USGS Flood Inundation Mapper Web Application

Washington State Groundwater Projects

This application includes information about ongoing or completed groundwater studies in Washington. Included are studies from coastal areas, the densely populated Puget Sound, central and eastern Washington, and cross-boundary areas shared with Canada, Oregon, and Idaho.

Water Data Labs

Water Data Labs is an experimental site that exposes tools and technologies in development by the USGS Water Data for the Nation software team. Here, users can explore and test experimental products, services, tools, and visualizations.

Regional Stream Quality Assessment (RSQA)

The Regional Stream Quality Assessment (RSQA), part of the National Water Quality Assessment project, seeks to characterize multiple water-quality factors that are stressors to aquatic life (contaminants, nutrients, sediment, and streamflow alteration) and to develop a better understanding of the relation of these stressors to ecological conditions in streams throughout the region.

Kīlauea 2018 - lower East Rift Zone eruption and summit-collapse events

This geonarrative summarizes Kīlauea’s 2018 events, highlighting the historical context and contributions to science.

Delaware River Dashboard

Created for the Office of the Delaware River Master and supporting the USGS Next Generation Water Observing System Delaware River pilot, the Delaware River Dashboard shows provisional real-time water data collected at USGS observation stations in context with weather-related data from other public sources.

Interactive Map: Fauquier County Groundwater Recharge

This application allows users to view, query, select, and export mean, 25th, and 75th percentile groundwater recharge data for Fauquier County, Virginia, USA resulting from a soil-water-balance model developed to estimate the mean annual water budget for the period 1996 through 2015 and the annual water budget for a drought-year in 2001.

Phenology Viewer

The Phenology Viewer provides a dynamic online map interface that can be used to view USGS Remote Sensing Phenology and other datasets.

Distribution of Hydraulically Fractured Oil and Gas Wells - 1947 through 2010

Find the number of hydraulically fractured horizontal, vertical, and directional oil and gas wells by drill (spud) year and by 8-digit U.S. Geological Survey hydrologic unit (HUC).

Wildlife Health Information Sharing Partnership – event reporting system (WHISPers)

WHISPers, the Wildlife Health Information Sharing Partnership - event reporting system, is a partner-driven, web-based repository for sharing basic information about historic and ongoing wildlife mortality (death) and/or morbidity (illness) events.

Coastal and Marine Geoscience Data System

Information about scientific data collected through field activities conducted by scientists in the USGS Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program.

Interactive Map: Northeast Region Drought Streamflow Probabilities

This application allows the display and query of drought probability. Maximum likelihood logistic regression is used to estimate drought probabilities for selected Northeast region streams.
