Alex R Fiore

Biography

Alex R. Fiore is a hydrologist with the USGS New Jersey Water Science Center specializing in aquifer characterization, groundwater-surface water interactions, and development of hydrogeologic frameworks for groundwater studies.

In 2018, Alex became project chief and lead USGS technical advisor for Department of Defense-managed groundwater contamination sites in New Jersey.  He has also contributed hydrogeology and hydrogeophysics to studies of contaminant fate and transport, landslide initiation, sea level rise, and groundwater availability. He has worked for USGS since 2012.
