Brendan McCarthy is a Hydrologist in the New England Water Science Center.
Brendan's work at the USGS New England Water Science Center focuses on the mapping and modeling of hydrologic data using his skills in hydrology, GIS and computer programming. He works on a variety of projects throughout New England and the nation producing hydrography from lidar and remotely sensed data, mapping flood risk for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Flood Inundation Risk Maps, and the modeling of water-use for the nation's resources.
