Paul Solis

Hydrologic Technician with the New England Water Science Center, Water Quality section.

I Grew up in Los Angeles, CA. and attended California State University Dominguez Hills  (B. S. in Environmental Studies). Upon graduating from undergrad, I was involved in a couple of internships. The first was a 10 week program with The University of Southern California studying Tardigrades on Catalina Island. The program was funded through a Research Experience for Undergraduates Program and our research center was The Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies. A year later, I earned another internship through Americorps and GSA working as a Thermal Water Quality Assistnant in Hot Springs National Park, AR. Following this internship I began looking for jobs involving water quality within the Department of the Interior and I now work with USGS in New England.
