Provides guidance to all employees to help them report any incidents of harassment without fear of retaliation and provides vital information for supervisors and management officials

The Civility and Inclusion Council works toward an inclusive workplace environment within the Bureau by fostering and promoting the civil treatment of employees and proactively addressing harassment and discrimination

 

Peer Support Worker Initiative/Program

Promotes awareness and provides outreach and education on topics and policies related to anti-harassment, discrimination, biases, and scientific integrity, and is led by the USGS Civility and Inclusion Council

Implements the statutory and regulatory ethics requirements of the Federal Government and DOI

Provides independent oversight and promote excellence, integrity, and accountability within the programs, operations, and management of DOI
