Agile Kangaroo Rat (Dipodomys agilis) mAKRAx_CONUS_2001v1 Range Map
This dataset represents a species known range extent for Dipodomys agilis (Agile Kangaroo Rat). These range maps are created by attributing sub-watershed polygons with information of a species presence, origin, seasonal and reproductive use. This range map was used to generate this habitat map for this species, the range was edited by Thomas Laxson; and reviewed by Jeff Lonneker.
National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP) 2015 Cumulative Habitat Condition Scores and Disturbance Indices Linked to HUC 12 Watersheds of the Watershed Boundary Dataset
This shapefile contains fish habitat condition index (HCI) scores as well as specific disturbance indices for 6th level Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC12) watersheds of the Watershed Boundary Dataset. The source datasets compiled and attributed to spatial units were identified as being: (1) meaningful for assessing fluvial fish habitat; (2) consistent across the entire study area i
National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP) 2015 Human Disturbance Data for Alaska linked to HUC12 Watersheds
This CSV file contains landscape factors representing anthropogenic disturbances to stream habitats summarized within 6th level Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC12) watersheds of the Watershed Boundary Dataset. The source datasets compiled and attributed to spatial units were identified as being: (1) meaningful for assessing fluvial fish habitat; (2) consistent across the entire study ar
National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP) 2015 Anthropogenic Disturbance Data for the Conterminous United States linked to the NHDPLUSV1
This CSV file contains landscape factors representing anthropogenic disturbances to stream habitats summarized within local and network stream catchments as well as 90 m local and network buffer of stream reaches throughout the conterminous U.S. The source datasets compiled and attributed to spatial units were identified as being: (1) meaningful for assessing fluvial fish habitat; (2%2
National Fish Habitat Partnership (NFHP) 2015 Cumulative Habitat Condition Scores and Disturbance Indices Linked to Catchments of Southeast Alaska
This shapefile contains cumulative fish habitat condition index (HCI) scores as well as specific disturbance indices for local and network catchments of Southeast Alaska. Catchments creation was leveraged through a project occurring at Michigan State University (Ross 2013). The source datasets compiled and attributed to spatial units were identified as being: (1) meaningful for asse
Shapefiles and Historical Aerial Photographs, Little Missouri River, 1939-2003
The data archive contains the aerial photographs and channel delineations used in our analysis. The images have been geo-referenced to the 1995 digital orthophoto quarter quadrangles as described by Miller and Friedman (2009). The separate images for each year can be viewed as a composite along with that year’s channel delineation using a geographic information system (GIS). The 2
Dam Removal Information Portal (DRIP)
The Dam Removal Information Portal (DRIP) is a web application where partners, scientists, and practitioners can find information on dam removals and associated scientific studies. It is a visualization tool, including a map and interactive charts, of a dam-removal literature review designed and developed by a working group at the USGS John...
GAP/LANDFIRE National Terrestrial Ecosystems 2011
The GAP/LANDFIRE National Terrestrial Ecosystems represents a highly thematically detailed land cover map of the U.S. The GAP/LANDFIRE National Terrestrial Ecosystems dataset is produced by the U.S. Geological Survey in collaboration with the LANDFIRE Program. The GAP and LANDFIRE produce data and tools that help meet critical national challenges such as biodiversity conservation, fire and...
Integrated Taxonomic Information System (ITIS)
ITIS is the authoritative taxonomic information on plants, animals, fungi, and microbes of North America and the world. We are a partnership of U.S., Canadian, and Mexican agencies (ITIS-North America); other organizations; and taxonomic specialists. ITIS data is used in thousands of databases in industry, academia and government.

The Biocomplexity Thesaurus is an online resource supporting terms in a 'broader than' and 'narrower than' structure in ecological and biological sciences.
Ocean Biogeographic Information System USA (OBIS-USA)
OBIS-USA is the US Node of the Ocean Biogeographic Information System, providing the collection and distribution point to OBIS of marine biogeographic records in U.S. waters or collected with U.S. funding. Using the Darwin Core standard, OBIS-USA integrates and makes accessible data on marine species presence, absence, and abundance to aid scientists, resource managers, and decisions makers....
Species of Greatest Conservation Need Analysis Tool
Species of Greatest Conservation Need are lists of species designated in the 56 State Wildlife Action Plans which identify the species most in need of conservation action in that state or U.S. territory. USGS developed a process that allows these lists to be compiled into a national list, making their representation across taxa groups available via the Species Conservation Analysis Tool.
