Annual Water Data Reports were published annually for many decades as static archival products that supplemented direct access to current and historical water data provided by the USGS. These formal publications have been discontinued, but historical reports and modern replacements are available.

The National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPRA) Legacy Data Archive contains geological and geophysical data collected during two extensive exploration programs, the first conducted by the U.S. Navy between 1944 and 1953 and a second conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from 1974 to 1982.

The U.S. Geological Survey uses a depiction and classification scheme for hydrologic units known as hydrologic unit codes (HUCs). HUCs generally represent catchments, and river basins are represented by a unique series of numbers with successively smaller hydrologic units nested inside of larger ones.

The Land Treatment Digital Library (LTDL) was created by the U.S. Geological Survey to catalog legacy land treatment information on Bureau of Land Management lands in the western United States. The LTDL currently houses thousands of treatments from BLM lands across 10 states.

Filter the data by species, state, specific herds, or land ownership, including Federal and Tribal lands, to focus on the areas and animals most relevant to your work or interests.

The Land Treatment Exploration Tool is designed for resource managers to use when planning land treatments. The tool provides useful summaries of environmental characteristics of planned treatment areas and facilitates adaptive management practices by comparing those characteristics to other similar treatments within a specified distance or area of interest. River DroughtCast delivers current streamflow drought conditions and weekly forecasts of streamflow drought at select streamgages with long-term, complete records across the lower 48 states (the conterminous U.S., or CONUS).

Barka Slough is a historically perennial wetland located at the downstream western end of California's San Antonio Creek Valley watershed. Plant and animal species in the area are experiencing impacts from habitat changes. The tool lets users explore and enhance the understanding of the hydrology and biology of the slough.

In both Native Hawaiian and Alaska Native traditions, birds play important roles in tracking seasons, signaling weather changes, guiding navigation, and locating food resources. Their movements and behaviors are read as part of an ongoing dialogue with the natural world.

The Humboldt Capture Query Tool (HCQT) is an interactive application that helps water managers, scientists, and public stakeholders explore how groundwater pumping affects streamflow and other water sources across the Humboldt River Basin.
