A multidisciplinary team of experts working on the Colorado River Basin ASIST initiative is determining how the USGS can develop integrative science, data, models, and tools that can be used to address key science challenges related to drought risk within the basin. Science Centers from across the USGS publish science to understand the complexity of drought impacts and compounding hazards.
