Pennsylvania StreamStats

StreamStats is a national web-based application that provides selected water-resource information for Pennsylvania. Users can easily obtain descriptive information, basin characteristics, and streamflow statistics for USGS streamgages and ungaged stream locations throughout the Commonwealth. Water use data is also available for Pennsylvania in StreamStats.

Philadelphia Water Quality Monitoring Network

The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) and USGS have been working together to create and expand the water-quality monitoring network for Philadelphia. Data from these gaging stations will allow PWD scientists and engineers to monitor spatial and temporal water quality/quantity trends in the City in support of watershed restoration initiatives occurring within the City.

Our Coast Our Future

Our Coast, Our Future (OCOF) is a collaborative, user-driven project focused on providing California coastal resource managers and planners locally relevant, online maps and tools to help understand, visualize, and anticipate vulnerabilities to sea level rise and storms.

Southwestern Willow Flycatcher Habitat Viewer

The Flycatcher Habitat Viewer was developed to meet the needs of organizations by providing maps of predicted flycatcher breeding habitat throughout its range. Maps are provided from 2013 to present and cover 57 satellite scenes. Maps identify predicted flycatcher habitat based upon the amount of green vegetation within a 120-m radius of each cell, and the size of floodplain within a 360-m radius.

Bay-Delta Regional Monitoring Program | Nutrient Mapping

Data visualization tool created for California's Bay-Delta Regional Monitoring Program.  This web applicaton visualizes nutrients and phytoplankton spatially and temporally.

Gap Analysis Project Species Viewer

The Gap Analysis Project Species Viewer is focused on providing access to species range maps and predicted habitat distribution models for species within the continental U.S. through an interactive map, allowing the user to explore the data.

Assessing Phytoplankton and Nutrient Abundance in the San Francisco Estuary and Delta

A data visualizatoin exploring the relationship between nutrient distribution and phytoplankton under different conditions across the San Francisco Delta and Estuary. Assessing distribution and abundance aids understanding of how managing nutrient supplies affects aquatic food webs, helping managers evaluate the potential environmental benefits of future nutrient reduction efforts against costs.

Decision-Making with the Multiple Objective Vireo Explorer (MOViE) Tool for the Santa Clara River

This tool is constructed around a model that integrates the major factors influencing the continued recovery of least Bell's vireo along the Santa Clara River in California (i.e., habitat quantity and configuration, habitat quality, and cowbird parasitism).

Earth Observation Requirements Evaluation System (EORES)

The Earth Observation Requirements Evaluation System (EORES) provides long-term capability to collect, maintain, and analyze Earth observaton requirements and capabilities using relational databases, user interfaces, and analysis tools.

Land Product Characterization System

The Land Product Characterization System facilitates the application of multi-satellite and in-situ data for characterization and validation of satellite-derived land-related products.

Geonarrative: Nontidal Network Mapper

The nontidal network mapper geonarrative is a data-driven, interactive narrative that shares the short-term water-year nutrient and suspended-sediment load and trend results for the Chesapeake Bay Program’s non-tidal network (NTN). The mapper provides the primary findings for nitrogen, phosphorus and suspended-sediment trends, and gives the user tools to further examine results.

EDEN Cape Sable Seaside Sparrow (CSSS) Viewer

The EDEN Cape Sable Seaside Sparrow (CSSS) Viewer evaluates water depths and other important metrics in CSSS habitat on a historical and real-time basis.
